LeoVegas and Videoslots are two Malta-licensed online casinos that often appear in the same searches. They are built differently: LeoVegas puts a large, staged welcome offer with a single free-spin game in front, while Videoslots prints two licence-specific bonus term sets and a wager-free spins offer. This page sets out what each publishes, side by side.

Everything below is based on each operator’s published terms and bonus terms, read on 27 October 2026 from a US IP address. It is not based on our own play. Payout times are the operators’ statements, not our measurements. Offers can vary by country. Read the full reviews: LeoVegas review and Videoslots review.

Licences: which regulator applies to you

Both hold an MGA licence. Videoslots adds a UKGC licence. LeoVegas serves UK players under a separate UK licence that this page does not cover.

In practice the licence that applies depends on your country. A Videoslots player under its Malta licence sees the MGA terms; a UK player is served under the UKGC licence. The welcome page prints both and does not tell a visitor which one applies. Check that on the site before you deposit.

MGA-licensed operators must hold enough funds to cover all player and jackpot balances, and the MGA received 1,757 monthly player-funds reports for 2025 (Malta Gaming Authority Annual Report 2025, Malta Gaming Authority). Both operators share that requirement for their MGA business. For what the regulators do and do not cover, read Curaçao vs MGA vs UKGC, and for the UK regulator see the UK Gambling Commission guide and the Malta Gaming Authority guide.

Our check of regulator warning lists found no warning about either brand. Videoslots appears on national blocklists in Italy, Poland and Switzerland.

You can confirm both licences yourself. How to check a gambling licence takes about five minutes.

Welcome terms: a worked comparison

The headline numbers hide the real difference, which is how much you must wager.

The same 35x figure on both MGA offers means very different obligations once you look at the time limit (14 days against 60), the payout style (one unlock against tranches) and the bet limits. Run your own numbers in our wagering calculator, and see how we rate the terms.

Terms we would read twice:

Payouts and fees

LeoVegas says it strives to process withdrawals within 24 hours, and in all cases within five working days. Videoslots says it processes withdrawals within 48 hours once documents are received, without guaranteeing it. Neither figure is our measurement. No regulator publishes average payout times either.

What both say about identity checks:

The UK Gambling Commission says issues relating to withdrawals cause most of the complaints it receives (Gambling Commission Annual Report and Accounts 2024-25, Gambling Commission). Upload your documents early. See how to complain about an online casino if a withdrawal stalls, and our KYC page.

Fees are where the two differ most in style. LeoVegas can charge 5% on withdrawals of unwagered deposits of €10 or more. Videoslots can charge up to 3.95% on unwagered deposits withdrawn, plus 1.95% on Euteller deposits and a charge for repeated withdrawals within seven days. Do not deposit and withdraw without playing.

Safer-gambling tools

Both offer limits and self-exclusion.

LeoVegas’s published tools cover deposit, wagering, loss and session-time limits. Tighter limits apply immediately and loosening one takes a 1-day cool-off. Self-exclusion can be for a definite or indefinite period or permanently. A time alert and pause account appear only in an April 2026 archive copy of its responsible-gaming page; we could not read the live page.

Videoslots lists a wager limit, deposit limit, loss limit, max-bet limit, time-out, reality check and account lock. Limit increases take 7 days; decreases take effect at once. Self-exclusion runs from 6 months up to five years, and for UK players it works through GAMSTOP.

Self-exclusion at one operator does not stop you playing at the other. Read self-exclusion: how it works and where it stops and our responsible gaming page.

Final word

LeoVegas leads with a large, staged offer, a 24-hour target and a deposit-based 35x with a short window. Videoslots offers two licence-specific term sets, a longer use period, wager-free spins and tranche payouts. Neither is “better” in general. Match the terms to how you play, check your country on each review and deposit only what you can afford to lose.
